Summary:
Big Mom attacks Kid and Killer with a new lightning bolt powered by a friend named Hera. Zeus is able to escape his restraints and searches for Big Mom, and Law teleports himself and Zora inside the Skull Dome as well, leaving Luffy to fight Kaida alone. Blasted inside Kaidou's fortress, Kid and Killer try to find Big Mom again, but are confronted by Hawkins and Killer stays behind to fight him while Kid continues.
Meanwhile, Nami, Usopp, and Tama go to Komachiyo on the Live Floor, but the two pirates try to shake Page One off their trail. She then runs into Big Mom, who is pleased to see Tama and reveals that she remembers what happened during her time with amnesia. When Big Mom remembers the meal she had in Okobore Town, Tama tells her that the Beast Pirates burned it to the ground. This infuriates Big Mom, causing her to strike the First Party with a Haoshoku Haki blow.
Kid and Killer try to escape from Big Mom, but she unleashes a wave of lightning from her new friend Hera, which appears to be composed entirely of lightning. Big Mom uses Hera to unleash an attack called Fulgora, hitting Kid and Killer and slamming into the side of the castle. Zeus continues to call out to Big Mom, but finds himself freed from the metal box he was imprisoned in, and Law realizes that something must have happened to the Kid. Zeus immediately tries to find Big Mom while Law uses his devil fruit powers to wave himself, Zoro, and Zeus down into the castle. After they leave, Kaidou stands up and smiles, telling Luffy that he seems to be enjoying this fight, and the higher the stakes, the wider the smile. The two charge at each other and clash with their Haoshoku Haki attacks.
Kid and Killer find themselves back inside the castle, but can't find Big Mom. Killer figured the hole she made was so big she lost track of them. That means she must be on the second floor, so the two try to cut her off so she can't regroup with Kaida. They are stopped by the Beasts Pirates, led by Basil Hawkins, who attack them with the Warabide-to. Kid curses Hawkins for his betrayal, but Hawkins merely states that he too was betrayed by Scratchmen Apoo, and joining Kaida was the only logical choice he felt he could make in this situation that didn't involve his death, though he admits his surprise. see them two alive.
Killer tells Kid to continue without him and he does so while Hawkins takes his Goma no So form. He says that his chances of defeating them at the same time were slim, but if it's just Killer, his chances seem better, while Killer insults him, calling him the real vigilante for Kaida. Hawkins ignores his words and tells him that his chance of death is 92%, which is his role after all. However, Killer states that he and his crew are taking matters into their own hands rather than leaving it to fate. Hawkins tells Killer that all he can do is wish himself luck, but Killer refuses to do such a thing.
On the second floor, Page One manages to grab Komachiya's back while Nami and Usopp try to get him to let go. The first page demands to know why the two won't give up. He yells that it's because they don't want to die yet and continues to attack him in every vital spot he has. Tama tells Komachiyo to hang on as she says that Speed most likely fed her Kibi Dango some SMILE eaters so she should be able to take care of them. Once she reaches the Live Floor stage, she turns them into allies and also says that she doesn't care what happens to her after that, but she'll stay there until then. Nami retorts that that won't happen because she and Usopp will protect her, though that doesn't ease her worries that much.
Usopp uses Midori Boshi: Hanabiban to force Page One to let go. After he hits the ground, Usopp uses Midori Boshi: Baku Bokkuri. Unfortunately for him, Page One withstands the attack and gets up. Usopp shouts that he wishes Tama's Devil Fruit powers would work on the natural Zoans, just as Big Mom crosses paths with the three of them, much to their horror. Big Mom notices Nami and Usopp, but when Tama sees her, she calls her by her name from when she had amnesia: O-Lin.
Big Mom surprisingly goes into what Prometheus calls "Mothering Mode", which is only occasionally seen in children under the age of ten. As a result, Big Mom forgets about the straw hats and starts talking friendly with Tama, much to the astonishment of Nami and Usopp. Tama tells her that she was scared after she disappeared in Udon, while Big Mom tells Tama that she wanted to thank her for taking care of her when she had amnesia, while Tama is relieved to have her memories back. Big Mom also tells Tama that she will never forget how oshiruko tasted when Tsuru gave it to her in Okobore town, but Tama's expression collapses.
Tama explains to Big Mom that the town of Okobore was destroyed because the residents lied to protect the samurai and their raid, and were burned to the ground after lying about eating all the stolen food. This revelation infuriates Big Mom when Page One finally catches up with them. She tells Big Mom not to let the enemy escape while he's about to slash at them. However, Big Mom calls the first page and the rest of the Beasts Pirates ungrateful and that no matter how cruel pirates can be, there should still be standards. He then punches the First Party in the neck with a fist coated in Haoshoku Haki. Ulti and her subordinates watch the scene in horror as Kid and Zeus deduce her location from the noise.
