Summary:
Momonosuke faces Kaidou and shakes with fear again. However, with Luffy's encouragement, he bravely steps forward and shows his dragon fangs, remembering what he had to go through for Kaidou.
After sending Kaidou flying through the roof, Luffy thanks Yamato for delaying Kaidou, and Yamato tells Luffy how relieved he is that Luffy has finally arrived. Kaidou then appears in his dragon form, unharmed. He does not believe that Luffy survived his previous injuries. He notices a pink dragon in front of him and wants to know who it is. Although startled at first, Momonosuke replies that he is Kozuki Momonosuke, the one who will become Shogun of Wan.
Meanwhile, the people of the Flower Capital are oblivious to the events on Onigashima. Toko and Hitetsu join in the celebrations, with Toko reminiscing about her adoptive father, Yasuie. Hitetsu, on the other hand, is reminded of his charge Tama, who joined the fight in Onigashima, and is concerned for her safety.
Mary reports updates to the Queen on the roof, which the others in the Skull Dome can hear as well. Elsewhere, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi seem to be winning their battles against Jack and Perospero. However, the clouds slowly block the full moon and the minks transform from their Sulong form. Stripped of their Sulong form and drained of energy, the Minks are overwhelmed by their opponents.
On the roof, Kaidou is about to breathe fire on Momonosuke, so Luffy urges the pink dragon to do the same. However, Momonosuke doubts that he can cause such an attack, so Luffy tells him to bite the emperor instead. Momonosuke is horrified by this suggestion. Kaidou attacked him with successive Bolo breaths that Momonosuke barely managed to dodge. Remembering what he and his family went through at the hands of Kaidou, Momonosuke mustered up the courage to sink his teeth into the blue dragon.
Angered, Kaidou is about to launch another attack when Luffy punches him in the face, preventing Kaidou from breathing fire. Luffy shouts his praises for Momonosuke, which can be heard throughout Onigashima. Luffy tells Momonosuke that he just bit the Emperor of the Sea, so there shouldn't be anything left in the world to scare him. Momonosuke realizes what he just did and agrees.
